A Music Video Trip into the Near Future
A near future animated music-video-like story of unforeseen heroes emerging to bring evolution to the next level before it’s too late.
Story spans late 2024 through 2034 focused on the struggle for autonomy between CorpGovs and Decentralists in a landscape of rapidly advancing technology spurred by breakthroughs in quantum physics and machine learning.
I wrote this story for a writing contest on Hackernoon back in April of 2024. Won 2nd prize, yay. Then decided to rewrite the story into songs. Used Suno and Udio to turn the lyrics into music. Edited the music with Audacity. Used Leonardo and Ideogram to make images. Edited in Affinity Photo. Fed edited images into various video generators, including Luma, Kling, Haipur, and Hedra. Dropped resulting assets into Davinci Resolve video editor and rendered this.
